CEBU, Philippines – The Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation is expanding its coverage to an even broader reach from the north to the south of Cebu by taking the organization online.

In partnership with an upstart web development group called Hypecorp, ERUF is in the process of creating its website – www.eruf161.com with several objectives in mind.

One of which is to heighten the awareness of the Cebuanos of ERUF’s existence, its history, and the services that its members are always ready and willing to provide.

“Increasing the publicity from the organization’s perspective is simply increasing its strength in terms of reach and coverage,” this was learned in a statement.

The website will contain applications that will make the organization’s process faster and more streamlined. One of the many tools it will contain is an online registration form, which will allow paramedics or aspiring paramedics to volunteer their service to the organization making ERUF more accessible not only to the general public but to future volunteers.

This move is seen to provide convenience to the people as well as to the organization in terms of tracking, storing, accepting volunteers and paving this new avenue for contact and access.

The finalization of the agreement between ERUF and Hypecorp in terms of website construction happened last June 13.

As data and photographs
will be posted on the web page, Hypecorp with its new department – Hype Media – led by Mark Ladanan with Jonas Barro in cooperation with freelance photographers Mikel Magdadaro and Jerry Cabrera will have a photo shoot of ERUF’s top-of-the-line vehicles at the IT Park in barangay Lahug on June 29 and 30.
